Welcome to this weeks edition of what I actually wore this week. Most of my days involve my office job, that I love, along with what feels like 1000 other things needing my attention, so we keep things real, simple, fun, functional and obtainable. For reference, I am just an average short girl size wise, 5’ 1” tall, usually a medium/size 8, athletic build. And with no further adieu, let’s get to it.

Denim Skirt | Pink Polka Dot Sleeve Body Suit | Black Shacket |
Gold Star Black Sneakers | Raffia Valentines Statement Earrings
January 26 – A shacket that isn’t plaid! This plain black one is a perfect addition for when there is just a little chill in the air. Paired it with a jean skirt that is a great length for the office without any rips or a slit in the back, and a pop of pink with this fun and flirty ribbed bodysuit. The sheer polka dot sleeves are a fun detail. Some super light weight Valentines raffia statement earrings and my current go to just enough of a platform gold star tennis shoes. An easy and simple Valentines style.

Jeans | White Peplum Top | Similar Nikes | Denner Wallet (ErinD15 will save you 15%) |
Black & Gold Bracelet Stack | AirPod Pro Snap Case
January 27 – Do yourself a favor and go snag these mini boot cut cropped jeans. The 9″ rise is perfection! Not too high where they are cutting into your ribs when you sit down and not too low. Paired with a feminine ruffle peplum sweater top dresses them up. Added some nikes and a little bracelet stack. Grabbed my magical little Denner wallet and out the door I went!

Two piece ribbed lounge set | Satin Heatless Curling Set (ERINDOBSON will save you 10%)
January 29 – Had a very much needed lazy, take a break from life weekend. We go go go a lot at this house and eventually even I need to just be still for a day or two. I might be the last person on the planet to give the heatless curl tend a try, but I finally did! Now I am wondering why it took me so long. I was just so sure it wouldn’t actually work on my stick straight hair that really doesn’t hold curl, no matter what tricks I try. That was until today. This Kitsch set was so easy to use, comfortable to sleep in (I didn’t even notice it) and to my surprise left my hair with a perfect amount of curl that stayed for 2 DAYS! No heat, no extra sprays and products. It was incredible.

Similar Dress | Similar Chunky Black Sweater | Fleece Lined Tights |
Black Mock Neck Bodysuit | Similar Chelsea Boots
January 30 – I absolutely LOVED this Devotion Twins summer dress I got last year from Anthropologie. It was a bit of a splurge so I make sure to get my use out of it, so I winterized it! 🤣 I added a chunky black sweater, a long sleeved mock neck bodysuit, some fleece lined tights and some chelsea boots. The fleece lined tights are probably warmer than any of the pants I own, they are really that good!

Jeans | Polka Dot Sheer Sleeve Ribbed Bodysuit | Herringbone Sweater Jacket | Bracelet Stack
February 1 – Texas is on snow/ice day 3 and I needed some new headshots for an acting profile page that Mr. Dobson was very eagerly setting up for me, so we set up a make shift studio, got real clothes on and snapped away. Otherwise it would have been p.j.’s day 3. This cropped sweater jacket is great add to any outfit for a little texture and warmth, but makes it cute. It is easy to wear to the office with dress pants or jeans. Great addition to the closet. 9″ rise jeans on the repeat, they are that good. Another fun sheer polka dot sleeve body suit in black and voila, you have an easy ensemble for whatever your day holds.
