Parking Lot Passport 02.22.2023

Welcome to this weeks edition of clothes I actually wore this week. Most of my days involve an office job, that I love, along with what feels like 1000 other things needing my attention, so we keep style and fashion choices simple, fun, functional and obtainable. We keep a healthy balance of more formal work wear days (think dresses and skirts) and casual days (jeans and sandals). This week included a road trip to Colorado and back all in 72 hours to see family, so it was an abbreviated fashion week! For reference, I am just an average short girl size wise, 5’ 1” tall, usually a medium/size 8, athletic build. And with no further adieu, let’s get to it.

Saturday | Road Trip Day to Colorado

Travel Day: For a long day of travel, I opted for a comfy yet chic outfit. I wore a pair of Old Navy wide leg blue chinos with a lacey knit sweater from Amazon that is so easy to pair with ANYTHING, and my trusty white platform Converse sneakers. To add a pop of color, I added a great little layered multicolored necklace set and matching bracelet stack. This outfit was perfect for traveling in style and comfort, while also being practical and versatile. The Old Navy chinos were not only stylish, but also comfortable and easy to move around in, making them the perfect choice for a day of travel.

Tuesday | Back to the Office

Re-entry after a whirlwind trip is always harder than I expect. After crawling into bed well after 2 am, when the alarm went off a few hours later lets just say I was less than excited about getting up and getting into work. Pulled this great puff sleeve blue and white stripe dress out of the closet for the day and so happy I did. The classic blue and white stripe is an office staple look. It was comfortable yet fashionable, and perfect for a day of running errands and catching up. The dress added a touch of sophistication, while the white platform sneakers kept it casual and trendy.

Wednesday

A little bit of an eclectic style to end this week. I combined these fantastic printed flowy wide leg pants with a long sleeved ribbed tee and a denim jacket. To finish off the look, I wore a pair of open toe booties, a must have for the almost spring but not quite season we find ourselves in, and another cute matching layered jewelry set. This look was perfect for an almost spring day in the office, while still feeling comfortable (think p.j’s at work almost!) and stylish.
